How Am I Paid - Redemption Options?
The Opinion Room currently pays cash for successful completion of market research studies. All of our members may redeem their cash via PayPal.

In order to redeem your cash via PayPal, you will need a valid PayPal account and have earned a total of $12.50 (for US and Canadian members) or £8 (for UK members) from successfully completing studies. Once you have earned $12.50 (for US and Canadian members) or £8 (for UK members), you may redeem your cash by logging into your Account and selecting "Your Profile" on the right hand side of the screen. Next, select "Redeem Rewards" under the 'Your Profile" section on the left hand side of the screen. Once you have redeemed your cash, you will receive an email informing you that your money is available via PayPal along with instructions on how to withdraw those funds.

Why Must I Join PayPal to Receive Cash?
In order to redeem the cash earned from participating in paid market research studies, all members of The Opinion Room will need a valid PayPal account. Registration with PayPal is absolutely free and must be the same email address linked to The Opinion Room in order to redeem your cash. Does The Opinion Room Require Any Personal Information?
The Opinion Room does NOT require you to provide any personal information such as telephone number, mailing address or banking/credit card information. However, there may be times when a specific survey will require this information in order for you to successfully complete the survey. Your participation in every one of our surveys is completely voluntarily, meaning you may choose not to participate in any given survey if you are uncomfortable providing any personal information requested of you. Further, your decision not to participate in any given survey will NOT affect your continued membership in The Opinion Room.

Why Am I Being Asked To Provide Information I’ve Already Answered?
The Opinion Room does not actually design and program any of the surveys you are invited to participate in. Rather, our clients provide us with the surveys that we send to our panel members. Unfortunately, our client’s surveys may require you to answer a few demographic questions which you have already provided The Opinion Room during your registration. Further, some basic questions are used to validate your overall survey responses and ensure that we are constantly providing our clients with the highest quality data. For example, if you have told us that you are an education professional during registration, but state that you are a doctor within one of our client surveys, it will trigger a flag causing your survey responses to be further reviewed and potentially have your account with us removed. Therefore, it is always important that you read each question carefully and answer honestly, even if you’ve already been asked this question in the past. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but know that critical to ensuring our ability to send you as many surveys for which you may qualify as possible.

Why Am I Not Qualifying For Surveys?
Unfortunately, not everyone who starts a study will qualify and successfully complete it. There are times when your answers do not meet the criteria needed for a particular survey. Your eligibility is determined by several questions at the beginning of the survey. Typically, these no more than 10 questions, will determine your eligibility and only eligible members of The Opinion Room will be able to complete the survey and receive their reward. In addition, many participants may be attempting the same study as you and therefore the study is filled quickly.

Can I Improve My Chances Of Receiving & Successfully Completing Surveys?
Yes! In order to improve your chances of receiving a paid market research study invitation as well increasing the likelihood of you qualifying, you should ensure your personal Profile is as complete as possible. The Opinion Room uses the information provided within your Profile to match you with various paid market research studies for which you may qualify. The more complete your Profile, the greater your opportunity at being invited to participate in paid market research studies.

How Long Do Your Surveys Actually Take To Complete?
On average, our surveys will take between 5 and 15 minutes to complete. However, on occasion you may receive survey opportunities which take only a minute or two or up to 25 minutes to complete. While The Opinion Room will do its absolute best to state upfront in your invitation email the predicted survey length, a variety of factors may affect how long it actually takes you to complete any given study. Your actual computer hardware and software, the time of day you attempt the survey, and how many other panel members are taking the survey at the same time as you, can all affect the actual length of time it takes you to complete a survey. Unfortunately, this may extend a bit beyond the length of survey stated in your invitation email. If at any time, you believe you have spent upwards of twice the stated length of a particular survey, you should contact The Opinion Room at .

The Opinion Room will always email you an invitation for an upcoming paid market research study. However, we also encourage you to follow us on Facebook and Twitter in order to stay informed of additional paid market research opportunities.

How Does The Opinion Room’s Referral Program Work?
The Opinion Room will reward you with 5 entries into an upcoming Sweepstakes for EACH new member that registers with us. Referring someone is as simple as sharing and distributing your unique referral link. You can receive your referral link by visiting our Referral page.

How Often Does The Opinion Room Run A Sweepstakes?
